Why we started Linaé
Skin clinics in most cities have drifted towards the same model: a menu of treatments, a package to sell, and a consultation short enough to keep the schedule moving. It works commercially. It does not work clinically.
Linaé was founded to invert that. The consultation comes first and is given the time a medical assessment needs. Devices are chosen because they solve a specific clinical problem well, not because they photograph nicely. And nobody is sold a package they do not need.
The result is a clinic that feels calm rather than commercial, and treatment plans that patients understand well enough to explain to someone else.
The clinic takes its name from Linnaea borealis, the twinflower, which carries two blooms on a single stem. It seemed the right emblem for a practice built on pairs that only work as a pair: medical dermatology and aesthetics, science and care, doctor and patient.
Two dermatologists, one standard of care
Linaé was founded and is run by two dermatologists, Dr. Praneeta Jain (MBBS, MD, DNB Dermatology) and Dr. Shravya Rimmalapudi (MBBS, MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy). The doctor who assesses you is the doctor who treats you, and procedures are never handed to a technician.
Between us we cover medical dermatology, lasers, aesthetics and surgical work, and the difficult cases get discussed between two opinions rather than decided alone. Dr. Praneeta also consults at KIMS Hospitals, Gachibowli, with a particular interest in acne scarring, pigmentation, vitiligo and nail disease.
